Senior and Associate Litigation Attorneys We are seeking Associate Attorneys to join our team.
These candidates will work closely with a Lead Attorneys to assist with all aspects of personal injury litigation.
Duties include:
Propound and respond to discoveryPerform legal research, draft motions, complaints, pleadings, and other litigation documents as necessaryPrepare for, take and defend depositions,Attend State and Federal court hearings as requiredAssist Lead Attorney with maintenance of heavy case load ensuring all cases move forward in a timely manner and within deadlinesPrepare for a Second Chair TrialsRepresented clients in personal injury accidents; auto, slip & fall, motorcycle, wrongful death, medical malpractice, premises liability and insurance disputes.Investigated and prepared claim demands to insurance companies in multiple statesNegotiated and settled disputes with insurance companies in multiple statesPrepared and filed civil lawsuits on behalf of clients Qualified candidate will be in good standing and have a CA license with a minimum of 1 year of PI litigation experience.
Must able to work under strict deadlines, and multitask in a fast paced environment.
Candidates must have excellent research skill and oral and written communication skills.
Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
