The Maritime team develops and maintains core AUV/USV products and adapts and applies those products to serve a wide variety of defense, IC and commercial customers in US and international markets.

We are seeking an Associate Director, Maritime Business Development to join Anduril, working in a cutting-edge start-up environment to advance the state-of-the-possible in undersea robotics.
WHAT YOU'LL DO Develop, run and capture demand and resourcing for current and future contracts and efforts, by multiplying efforts of the Strategic Lines of Effort within the Maritime Division.Support detailed scoping and planning efforts for proposals and new start programs, including capturing strategic initiatives, generating milestones for delivery and technical readiness, formalizing deliverables - working as a liaison between the Program Execution Team, and current and future customers.Develop and maintain effective working relationships with end-users, and Fleet and Program Office Stakeholders to drive customer success at Service or COCOM levels, and to garner and solidify requirements to drive further capability delivery.Serve as a Growth Lead and close partner to the Program Leads across Maritime Programs and Portfolios and bridge the gaps between tactical and smaller-dollar capture to grow into larger contract acquisition pathways.Implement strategies that capture opportunities and stitch together Capability Providers, Developers, and Employers into a cohesive plan of action, which includes rapid contracting and acquisition pathway attainment.Collaborate closely with engineering leads to develop and execute coordinated approaches to new business opportunities in which defense customers require products from across Anduril.Support the definition of high-level system requirements and architecture for future vehicle and payload programs.Represent the Anduril brand, ethos, company vision at stakeholder engagements including Flag Level / General Officer / Congressional Level engagements.Foster a culture of trust, open communications, customer focus, innovation, and continuous improvement.Travel to support customer meetings, engagements, program contracts, exercises 30%. Travel includes both CONUS and OCONUS travel.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS The ideal candidate will be a proven strategic growth leader who has demonstrated experience business capture strategies with an emphasis on the US Navy as a customer.Demonstrated knowledge in defense acquisitions, with a history of zero-to-one defense program growth a plus.Experience in the technical, programmatic, and operational challenges of developing and deploying autonomous systems.Demonstrated high-energy, high-ownership leader who will drive performance and exhibit strong management skills with a high level of emotional intelligence.Must be able to work in a fast-paced, highly entrepreneurial, and creative environment, and be able to build, adapt, and implement new and innovative approaches to market.Excellent writing and communication skills with experience briefing senior executives and customers.Candidate must be eligible to obtain a Top Secret security clearance.Candidate must be willing to travel up to 50% in support of customer engagements and program capture/execution oversight.Preferred candidate is based in Quincy, MA, Costa Mesa, CA or Washington, DC.ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in business development, operational employment of unmanned underwater systems, program/acquisition experience, or resource sponsor experience.Bachelors and Advanced Degree, in relevant fields to the above job description.Intimate understanding of government contracting, fielding, and requirements generation for the purposes of transitioning prototype capabilities to production.US Salary Range $140,000 - $210,000 USD
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
