Associate Manager, Smb Ads & Promotions - Strategy & Operations

About the Team Our Advertising & Promotions team operates at the intersection of e-commerce and advertising, surfacing and monetizing relevant content that benefits our core audiences. We provide digital solutions to help advertisers reach DoorDash audiences. This role will be directly responsible for developing our internal and external facing SMB advertising customer narrative (value proposition, metrics, insights, and reporting). This is a highly analytical role focused on SMB customer insights and internal tools.

About the Role Own measurable business outcomes (OKRs) by spearheading initiatives that drive spend and incremental value for Merchant / Advertiser audience. Leverage data to monitor and optimize product performance. You will perform detailed analyses and build internal dashboards. Partner with Product and Data Science to identify how we can build solutions for internal customers (e.g. sales team) to construct client-facing narratives. Partner with Sales and Account Management teams to understand where there's opportunity for improvement in their processes, and own the end-to-end development & execution of initiatives. Bring product offerings to market both internally (for our account teams) and externally (for our merchants). Develop external customer-facing materials and product positioning. Wear multiple hats - including business operator, product marketing, business intelligence, sales enablement, and sales marketing. We're excited about you because… You have 4+ years of experience in consumer tech, food delivery, marketing, e-commerce, product marketing, or operations. Advertising experience and experience working in/with the Restaurant industry is preferred for this role. You must have worked closely with a Sales or Account Management team before. Proven track record of leading projects, working cross-functionally with product and engineering, and delivering on results. Experience in an environment that is product or consumer-focused. Excellent analytical abilities (including intermediate+ Excel and intermediate+ SQL).
