ATS Manager Location Remote in Bethesda, MD : The ATS Manager is the liaison between the partner, the client, and the professional staff. The manager is responsible for managing multiple implementation projects simultaneously, and scheduling, staffing, and coordinating of implementation project workflow and quality. Also develops and trains consultants and builds relationships leading to new business for the firm. This role requires advanced level knowledge of Sage Intacct system configuration, design, workflow processes, financial reporting, and accounting for nonprofit and professional service organizations Requirements 1. Responsible for all phases of a ATS implementation projects.
2. Plans, schedules, and staff's implementation projects with consultants as appropriate for the client's needs.
3. Maintains familiarity with background and qualifications of all ATS consultants; reviews and makes project assignments accordingly.
4. Prepares subscription agreements and Statement of Work documents for approval by the ATS Senior Manager.
5. Supervises consultants and provides on-the-job training and suggestions for other training classes and videos as appropriate.
6. Anticipates problem areas of implementation projects and questions that will arise.
7. Keeps ATS Sr. Manager informed of significant developments on engagements; analyzes problems and recommends solutions.
8. Develops ATS consultants' staff by preparing performance evaluations, recruiting, and training.
9. Communicates details of fees to clients and assists in collection of overdue accounts.
10. Maintains knowledge of accounting trends and legislation that could affect the operations and software requirements of the clients, particularly in the area of Non-Profit Accounting.
Other (Secondary)Functions: 1. Prepares other reports and projects as requested from time to time by the partners.
2. Such other duties as may be assigned.
3. Participates in firm's practice and proposal development efforts.
Required Education and Experience: Evidence of completion of at least 10 full cycle Sage Intacct implementation projects completed, preferably in the Non-Profit vertical. Bachelor's degree in accounting. CPA is preferred, but not required. At least 5-7 years' experience in accounting, demonstrating a progression in complexity, scope, and number of software implementations completed. Prior CPA firm experience is preferred. Strong proficiency in in Sage Intacct required. Some experience with QuickBooks is preferred. Experience with cloud-based applications such as Martus, Bill.com, Tallie, Nexonia, Expensify, Freshdesk, Mavenlink, and DataBasics is strongly preferred. Demonstrated Skill and Ability Requirements Ability to create and deliver Power Point presentations with Sage Intacct demos on a variety of Sage Intacct topics, including Sage Intacct Quarterly Releases. Organize implementation projects, set priorities, and delegate tasks under constantly changing circumstances for different clients. Assume lead role in planning and implementing projects. Keep long term objectives in mind while focusing on daily activities. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive firm and client information. This does not list all the duties of the job.
