Attorney Coach/Professional Development Manager

We are helping a large law firm hire a legal professional for a coaching + professional development role. This role will be based in the firm's Palo Alto office.

A large focus of this role is work allocation for associate level attorneys, and some specific responsibilities include:
Working with practice group leaders to make sure associate attorneys are getting the type of work they need for their professional development
Working with associates to make sure they get opportunities to work on matters they want to work on
Providing coaching to associate level attorneys on a variety of topics ranging from how to respond in challenging situations to how to succeed in a particular role or task to what resources the firm offers related to wellness, mental health, and a variety of other topics.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a nurturing personality and prior experience working or practicing in a large law firm or professional services firm.
