AV Event Technician Part-Time Schedule: 20 hours per week.
Work hours from 3pm-7pm / 4pm-8pm (Mainly working Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday)Peak season April-June & October-December.
Most work in the afternoon-evening, some morning hours.
Hourly Pay: $30 per hourLength: 1-year with possible extensionExposure to A/V Support, especially in Theater, Some experience with A/V Tech for live events Events range from parents on campus, groups visiting, renting space out for events, parties.
Extra help needed for managing these AV events.
This position is ideal for individuals with basic audiovisual knowledge who are eager to develop their skills in a dynamic environment.

Project Details -Lead setup and manage audiovisual equipment for on-campus events, ensuring performance and quality.
-Provide technical support for virtual conferences and hybrid meetings.
-Understand and execute technical requirements for diverse events, including timely equipment setup and operation.
-Perform routine maintenance and installation of audiovisual gear.
-Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues, while effectively communicating with the team and management.
-Stay updated on the latest audiovisual technologies and practices.
Requirements -Exposure to AV/Tech Support – theatre experience etc.
-Familiarity with theater stage lighting equipment, including ETC (Electronic Theatre Controls) Lighting consoles and EOS software programming.
-Basic knowledge of moving light technology and programming.
-Proficiency in operating digital audio mixing consoles like Midas and Allen & Heath.
-Proficient in managing hybrid meetings across video conferencing platforms like Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams.
-Some experience or familiarity with audiovisual technology in live events.
-Quick learning and adaptability with new audiovisual equipment and software.
-Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail
-Effective communication skills and collaborative abilities.
Preferences -Theater experience – highly preferred
