Description of the role:

The Automotive Service Advisor at South Shore Kia is responsible for providing excellent customer service and serving as a liaison between customers and the service department. They will assist customers in scheduling service appointments, providing cost estimates, and recommending necessary repairs or maintenance. The Service Advisor will also ensure that all work is completed in a timely manner and communicate updates to customers to ensure their satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Schedule and coordinate service appointments for customers Assess customer needs and provide detailed cost estimates for repairs and maintenance Recommend necessary repairs and maintenance based on vehicle inspections Communicate with customers regarding the status of their vehicle and any additional repairs Coordinate with the service department to ensure timely completion of work Address customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner Requirements:

Prior experience working in an automotive service advisor role or similar customer service role Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance processes Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to quickly assess customer needs and provide appropriate recommendations Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Proficiency in using computer software applications, including service scheduling systems
