POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for directing and overseeing BMI's multi-year transformation and business critical initiatives through a Strategic Programs Office. Identifies and executes short and long-term critical change initiatives that materially improve business performance and generate outsized benefits to BMI's affiliates. This role will collaborate with executives, matrix partners, and stakeholders to build, deliver, and execute the transformation. Maintains adherence to critical schedules, specifications, and budgets while taking on individual contribution, where necessary, to supplement team capabilities and deliver results.

LOCATION
Nashville, TN office. BMI has transitioned back to working in the office on a regular hybrid schedule. At present, most team members are expected in the office three (3) days a week. Decisions regarding future transitions will take place in phases as BMI continues to closely monitor COVID-19 as employee safety is our priority.

FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
Essential Functions: which may be representative but not all inclusive of those commonly associated with this position.

Strategic Programs ManagementSupports company growth initiatives through interaction with the executive leadership team and key departmental leaders.Identifies and analytically defends areas of strategic opportunity across business operations, while leveraging a strong "nose for value" to prioritize projects.Takes ownership of results while working with cross-functional teams and materially participating to deliver expected outcomes, and delivering on financial commitments to company.Leads team of project/program managers to increase operational leverage across the company, manages multiple high-value programs simultaneously.Translates strategic vision into actionable project plans; drives accountability for the success of projects within the teams.Provides management of strategy development with the executive leadership team.Manages a large portfolio of projects to ensure on budget, and on-schedule delivery.Leads and oversees a team of Strategic Program Managers, and/or Analysts.Assures implemented business solutions meet the needs of the organization.Develops and implements project plans, policies, and processes that align with company strategies and goals.Defines and implements program management governance, procedures, measurement strategies, surveys, financial controls, and tools across the organization.Coordinates activities across applicable departments, development teams and external vendors.Works closely with Business Development teams to execute new business plans, implement partnerships, and manage post-merger integrations, as necessary.Defines and monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess effectiveness, and overall performance of strategic initiatives.Generates relevant analytics to measure performance of the strategic initiatives.Monitors project processes and operations for efficiencies, cost management, and process improvement opportunities.Creates and manages budget to optimize resources in support of company goals and objectives.Communicates status and issues in a timely manner to management; regularly communicates to arrange meetings, confirm program schedules, and discuss any program problems.Identifies and mitigates potential risks by implementing strategies to enhance resilience and responsiveness. Identify and help mitigate bottlenecks proactively.Ensures centralized readouts/tracking of large cross-functional initiatives.Change ManagementCollaborates with key stakeholders across the organization to drive project awareness and engagement to support organizational growth and transformation.Partners with internal teams to plan, scope, and manages company initiatives and programs, and to prepare for the changes being made, as well as when and how their roles and functions will be impacted.Partners closely with Corporate Communications to develop effective communication strategies and forums/practices to ensure organization-wide alignment, clarity, and team member engagement around the transformation; assists with communication to internal and external stakeholders and team members.Partners with HR to create change management practices and developmental opportunities to effectively lead team members and management through transformation. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training team members; planning, assigning, directing and ensuring reliability of work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining team members; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Education: Bachelor's degree in related field required. Masters' degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum 10 years' experience and proven success managing complex transformation programs and initiatives company-wide and proven record of effectively working with the executive leadership teams.

SALARY RANGE
The specific base salary offered to a successful applicant will be based on individual qualifications, skills, experience, and education. The pay range is subject to change at any time based on various internal and external factors. The position may also be eligible for one or more performance-based bonuses.
