Job Summary:
The Doubletree Schenectady, NY is seeking a skilled and dynamic Bartender to join our hospitality and restaurant team.
This individual will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, crafting and serving delicious drinks, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
This is a part-time, hourly position in Schenectady, New York with a compensation of $10 per hour, plus paid weekly.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take drink orders and serve guests in a timely manner
- Create new and innovative drink recipes
- Prepare and pour alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Ensure proper inventory management and control
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar area
- Follow all company and safety policies and procedures
- Upsell food and beverage items to increase sales
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient and timely service
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any guest complaints
- Adhere to all state and local alcohol serving guidelines
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous bartending experience preferred
- Knowledge of different alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
- Must have a valid liquor license or the ability to obtain one
