Bedding Designer

Position is in office every day in NYC.
Home Fashions company is looking for a Designer with experience in Bedding products (comforters, sheets, throws, blankets, etc.).
We are located in Midtown (NYC) and the position reports to the VP of Design.
The key must have experience is bedding products.
Company pays 100% of employee medical and the position is in office every day in NYC. Responsibilities: Designing bedding and top of bed products for major retailers and off price channel.Ability to design and develop products for company, store, licensed brands and private label.Exceptional attention to detail and technical design skills to create production-ready artworkWork closely and communicate effectively with VP of design, sales team, fellow designers, and product development team membersResearch trends, competitors and the market to develop on trend designs that resonate with buyers. Requirements: Minimum of 2 to 4+ years of professional design experience in bedding, top of bed or fashion beddingMust possess an outstanding sense of design and creativity, superb organizational skills and attention to detailsExcellence preparing tech packs for factory partners and the ability to correspond with overseas teammates and factories to finalize sample/production requestsVery strong skills in the Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator.Must be located in the New York City metro area and willing to work in the office five days a week
