Role Description:
The Benefits Analyst positionis responsible forday-to-day operations of group benefit programs (group health, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, flexible spending plans, 401(k) plan). In this role, you will provide excellent customer service to CoStar Group employeesand provide analytical and technical support in the delivery of the benefit programs.This position will report to the Director, Benefits.
This role is based inWashington, DCand offers 4 days a week onsite with 1 day remote.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate daily benefit processing, to include enrollments, terminations, changes, insurance claims, etc.

Gather employee data and oversee the processing of monthly billings and the preparation of payment of invoices for all group plans

Provide customer service support to internal and external customers

Design and deliver presentations for new employee benefit orientations

Serve as primary contact for plan vendors andthird partyadministrators. Coordinate transfer of data to external contacts for services,premiumsand plan administration. Work effectively to make sure the plans run smoothly. Investigate discrepancies and provide information in non-routine situations.

Assistbenefits team in the research of employee benefit plans and vendors toidentifythose that present the best value

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited, not-for-profit University or College

A track recordof commitment to prior employers

2+ years of Human Resources experience

Project and team management/leadership skills and experience. Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates. Capability of effective planning and priority setting. Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.

Strong analytical skills and a thorough knowledge of plan designs. Ability to understand, evaluate and make judgment on proposals

Computerproficiencyand technical aptitude with the ability toutilizeMS Word, Excel, and Power Point

Preferred Qualifications:
Benefits or employee benefits administration experience preferred

Professional designationssuch as CBP or SHRM

Previousexperience using Workday's benefits features

Evidence of strong academic performance in college

This position offers a base salary range of $71,000 to $97,000 based on relevant skills and experience and includes a generous benefits plan.
