Bodily Injury Adjuster, Litigation

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Bodily Injury Adjuster (Litigation) to join an insurance company in Queens, NY.
In this role, you will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, and negotiating bodily injury claims, both litigated and non-litigated.
This opportunity is fully on-site with hours of 9AM-5PM (flexible schedule).

Key Responsibilities: Manage litigation processes by directing defense counsel and monitoring associated costsInitiate investigations upon receipt of new claimsObtain and document statements from all parties involvedMaintain detailed records of all activities and manage a diary on all filesAssess liability based on investigations Review medical records to evaluate injury value and maintain accurate claim reservesAdhere to company policy regarding reserve and settlement authority, and complete large loss reports as requiredNegotiate settlements with claimants and/or their attorneysLiaise with other carriers to gather injury information Qualifications: Proven experience in handling bodily injury claims, with a strong background in litigationFamiliarity with liability, comparative negligence, and their application in claimsExcellent negotiation skills and computer literacyParalegal Certification is a plus Salary Range: $60,000 - $73,000
