Join a Company that Empowers you to Build your Future The Branch Manager of Title Operations is responsible for managing the production of employees but in addition acts as a function operations manager.  The role will also be responsible for operational functions related to providing title services to customers as well as partnering with and acting as a liaison between mortgage and builder to ensure that compliance, policy adherence, production goals, and timelines are met.  The Branch Manager will also ensure employee conformance to established practices and proper training of staff.

Your Responsibilities on the Team  Manages work activities and operations of a functional area or department that supports the title processProvides input to operational plans and works with Senior Management to ensure that plans are integrated with broader strategiesActs as a liaison with Escrow/Branch managers and leaders of other functions/ operations/ business units and provides feedback and resolution on escalated issues, process issues/changes and results. Coordinate and monitor efforts between groupsMay work with vendors who provide services to FA, typically pre-approved; monitor/manage vendor compliance, cost effectiveness, quality and timeliness of work. Improve processes/ quality of output; in smaller locations, may manage a wider range of vendors including office management providersTrack and monitor expenses; role may include office management -type dutiesExtensive experience in the title and escrow industry including residential, commercial, subdivision, and exchanges. Excellent supervisory skills. Professional communication skills. Computer skills. Prior management experience required College level management courses helpful.Works on a diverse range of problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors and an understanding of current business and trends.Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in determining objectives and approaches to project completion.Receives assignments in the form of objectives, establishes goals, and assigns resources to meet schedules and goalsWork is reviewed in terms of meeting product, project, or operational objectives, quality, schedules and budgetsInteracts with Management and peers in other departments for purposes of gaining cooperation, exchanging technical information, and presenting project plans and reportsRegularly reviews quality of work and may spot check complete escrow files to insure adherence to customer request as well as to company policies and procedures.Assists customers by resolving complaints, expedit­ing orders, explaining procedures, pricing schedules, etc.Strong process skills required; detail orientedStrong computer skills and knowledge of company operating systems/applicationsStrong problem-solving and customer service skillsAbility to lead/sought out for adviceAble to manage competing prioritiesSuccessful track record designing, developing, and executing complex projects.Can influence the thinking of, or gain acceptance from others in sensitive situations using influence.Strong communication skills with the capacity to communicate the function's vision and the department's direction and set aligned goals. Provides resources and creates systems to measure results. Familiar with competitor, financial and industry dynamics.Actively recruits, retains and develops talent and holds employees accountable for results. Requirements Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience5-7 years of directly related experience3-5 years demonstrated experience in a supervisory or management role.Demonstrated success establishing, leading and maintaining effective working relationships at the Department Management level. Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements: Regular, in-person attendance at Company communities/job sites and offices during regular work hours is an essential function of this job. Requires the ability to work more than eight hours per day in the confined quarters of a construction trailer, the ability to operate a motor vehicle, read plans, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and/or carry equipment which may be in excess of 50 pounds. Job may require occasional operation of construction equipment. Finger dexterity may be required to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
