Job Description
BROILER COOK
Preparing and cooking high quality STEAKS using a Broiler or other high-heat cooking equipment
Ensure food cooked to the correct temperature and taste per customer request
Maintain cleanliness of workstation and storage areas at all times
Maintain inventory of station and order stock
Receive and prepare food orders according to standard recipes
Control waste by monitoring proper rotation, storage, and quantity control.
Maintain inventory of station and order stock
Adhere to strict food safety and sanitation standards
Communicate effectively with other kitchen/wait staff to ensure efficient food preparation
Qualifications
Must be an EXPERIENCED BROILER COOK
Must have a minimum of six (6) months of experience as a BROILER COOK
Must be able to stand and/or walk for duration of shift
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with exposure to heat and noise
Must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 75 pounds
Other physical requirements of the position include but are not necessarily limited to reaching, grasping, bending, kneeling, and twisting at the waist
Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications
