Job DescriptionWinter/Spring Co-Op In this co-op opportunity at Skyworks, you will learn and participate in developing advanced, state-of-the-art RF front-end modules, working with seasoned engineering professionals and collaborating with subject matter experts within Skyworks. Responsibilities: Working with experienced engineers to develop multi-chip modules.Performing module prototyping tasks using a soldering iron and hot plate for component change and reworks.Support engineering prototype builds of RF modules and prepares materials needed for the build.Troubleshooting and resolving module related issues in the lab.Collaborating with other engineers and technicians.Requirements: Currently enrolled in a STEM (or related) AA or BS program.Commitment to working on-site for 6 months.Strong desire to learn, grow and make an impact.Strong career interest in electronics and RF/microwave engineering.Willing to share knowledge and collaborate with others.Must have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.Hands-on experience in a lab is highly preferred.Relevant experience in soldering and RF module assembly, rework and testing is a plus.Skyworks is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
