Job Description: As a Business Analyst, you will support project and work request needs by joining in-flight projects focused on implementing IT solutions to enhance efficiencies and public support. This role involves liaising between the Client and project stakeholders, providing expert facilitation and elicitation to develop strategies and requirements for future enhancements. You will also contribute to the operational activities of the Business Analyst team, participating in various work requests and assisting with Agency compliance and support. Key Responsibilities: Serve as a liaison between Client and project stakeholders, facilitating requirements gathering and strategy development. Provide expert facilitation and elicitation for developing strategies, requirements, and future enhancements. Participate in project meetings, providing input on current activities, needs, and objectives. Prepare and facilitate discussions with stakeholders to capture requirements, priorities, and outcomes. Document session outcomes in notes, specification documents, or user stories. Support compliance with Client policies and practices, helping navigate constraints and enablers. Engage in various related work requests and contribute to the overall activities of the Business Analyst team. Conduct business process reviews, gap fit analysis, and requirements refinement for in-flight projects. Assist in the development and management of user stories on Agile projects. Work with senior management to determine strategy, develop roadmaps, and resolve opposing positions. Evaluate, document, and inform management of impacts and risks related to applications, enhancements, and changes in processes. Mentor other staff and provide technical support for new technologies and systems integration. Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies: Minimum of 16 years of general Business Analyst experience. At least 7 years of experience conducting business process reviews, requirements elicitation, and documentation. At least 5 years of experience developing and managing user stories on Agile development projects. At least 2 years of experience working with senior management to facilitate discussions and develop strategies. Minimum of 2 years supporting the development of or compliance with statements of work or other work agreements/contracts. Minimum of 2 years working on projects developing or implementing IT solutions for public use. Minimum of 1 year working on IT infrastructure projects and with programs governed by state and/or federal regulations. .NET code, C#, Angular experience highly desired (2-3 years). Some knowledge of SQL. Experience with business process reengineering and identifying new applications of technology. Proficiency in business process mapping, functional and technical specifications, and reporting and data warehousing support. Ability to document and provide knowledge transfer to teams and prepare RFPs. The hourly range for roles of this nature are $45.00 to $80.00/hr.
