Role: Business Analyst Location: Warren, MI Duration: Long term Rate: Market Job Responsibilities: Review new requests for dealer data, ensuring completion of the Dealer Data Authorization form.
Ensure business teams understand and comply with the Dealer Data Governance Process.
Assist in navigating the Dealer Data Governance Process, including Privacy Impact Assessments, External Data Transfer Policy adherence, Application Registration (ASMS), if required, and maintain and publish request statuses.
Validate completeness of submitted DDA forms, thoroughly documenting dealer data requests including purpose, data source, specific elements, data flows, usage, and third-party involvement.
Conduct annual audits of active Dealer Data Authorization forms.
Generate data lineage reports capturing dealer data flow from source to consumption, highlighting changes and transformations.
Document business requirements for acquiring additional dealer data from third-party providers with dealer consent to meet business needs.
Support creation and upkeep of a dealer data dictionary, ensuring data element context, consistency, and accuracy.
Assist in documenting and implementing data quality policies, standards, and procedures for dealer data systems.
Ensure compliance of data governance practices and dealer data use with federal and state regulatory requirements.
Monitor data governance KPIs, including data quality metrics, compliance levels, and incident reports; provide regular management updates.
Recommend solutions to enhance Dealer Data Governance effectiveness.
Experience with IT processes and projects, with ability to grasp complex IT solutions and strong technical skills.
Ability to interpret and create complex data flow diagrams is crucial.
Strong problem-solving skills, decision-making ability, and sound judgment.
Proficient in facilitating meetings and influencing teams towards collaborative problem-solving.
Effective time management, with ability to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
