Zetier is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Developer to join our team focusing on identification, pursuit, and capture in government contracting space within the Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC). Strong technical team and support staff available to support writing efforts.
Required:
Highly experienced (5+ years) business development and sales with a strong track record in govcon specifically within DoD and IC sectorsDemonstrated success identifying, pursuing, and capturing new $10-50m opportunities in a highly competitive marketIn-depth knowledge of government procurement (e.g. BAA, RFI, RFP)Proficiency in relevant tools and formats (e.g. CRM, Word, proposals)Familiarity with key data sources (e.g. ARC, GovWin, sam.gov)Experience leading prime proposal and whitepaper writing effortsExcellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsActive U.S. security clearance Desired:
Established network of industry contacts and relationshipsExposure to cybersecurity, intelligence, and SOCOM missionsTechnical background in DoD/IC engineering or program managementFamiliarity with Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programsServices background in Firm Fixed Price and Time & MaterialsKnowledge of federal contract compliance (e.g. ISO, CMMC, ITAR)Master's degree or equivalent experience in a related fieldInterest in a performance-driven compensation model Primary office and classified systems in Arlington, VA. Portions of the work may be done remotely as appropriate.
