Business Development Manager - Freight Forwarding

A Global Freight Forwarding company is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team in the Tri-State area.

Responsibilities: Identifying new leads/opportunities and closing new businessDeveloping relationships and fostering new businessNetworking at events with potential clientsCold callingWorking alongside the vice president and customer service teamIdentifying new target customers within defined parametersResearching all clients fully prior to visiting to ensure credit limits are viable and there is a realistic chance of successCommunicating with clients to qualify prospects and promote the companyArranging visits and/or follow-ups Skills Required:Experience working within the Freight Forwarding industryStrong sales and business development backgroundExcellent customer service skills
