Business Development ManagerWe are looking for a talented and experienced Business Development Manager with government contracting experience to drive growth and expand our portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, responding to RFPs, building strong relationships with clients and partners, and achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities:Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve growth targetsIdentify new business opportunities and potential clients through market research, networking, and other meansBuild and maintain relationships with key clients and partners to grow business revenueCollaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute targeted sales strategiesManage the sales process from lead generation to closing dealsAnalyze market trends and competition to inform business development strategiesMonitor and report on sales performance and provide recommendations for improvementRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related fieldProven experience (5 years) as a Business Development Manager or similar roleStrong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targetsExcellent communication and negotiation skillsAbility to build and maintain relationships with both government and commercial clients and partnersProficient in Microsoft Office and CRM softwareStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamNote: This position is considered Hybrid regarding in-office requirements. We are only seeking candidates local to the MD area.
Note: Commission and Bonus Structure is in addition to Base Salary.
