Location: Hybrid / remote in: Woodland Hills, CA; New York, NY; Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX; Chicago, IL; Vancouver, B.C.; Toronto, ON Panavision has an immediate opening for a Business Intelligence (BI) Data Architect to design, build and maintain a structured data warehouse that supports Panavision's data analytics, reporting and operations.

Qualified candidates for this position must demonstrate expertise in database architecture, data warehousing, and forensic data analysis as well as implementing data hygiene processes and automated data cleanup. S/he must have an operational, get stuff done attitude, a razor-sharp eye for detail and an aptitude for data management. The successful candidate must be able to leverage their skills to ensure the integrity, performance and security of the data to meet business needs. The role also requires design and maintenance of a distributed enterprise-wide database architecture including maintaining the reporting services for an enterprise level ERM software application.

Key Responsibilities:Designing and maintaining a distributed enterprise-wide database architecture.Architect, build and maintain a scalable, high-performance data warehouse solution.Develop data models that support both operational and analytical data requirements.Implement and optimize ETL processes to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.Experienced in reporting services, replication, clustering models and data flows.Conduct forensic analysis of datasets to detect data anomalies and inconsistencies.Implement and manage automated data cleaning procedures to maintain data integrity and accuracy.Monitor and resolve data quality issues, ensuring timely correction and continuous improvement.Design and implement automated data cleanup routines.Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards to provide business insights.Work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights.Ensure all database architectures comply with security, privacy and compliance.Implement role-based access controls to protect sensitive information.Develop, manage and test back-ups and recovery plans. Skills/Experience Required:5+ years of experience in database administration, architecture and data warehousing.Knowledge and understanding of object-oriented design.Proven experience with relational databases e.g. SQL server, Oracle.Experience in forensic data analysis and implementing data hygiene strategies.Proficiency in SQL, database optimization and query performance tuning and stored procedures.Knowledge of BI and reporting tools e.g. PowerBI.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Confident team player that enjoys collaboration.Strong communication and collaboration abilities.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.University degree in relevant subject. The employee may also be required to lift product or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work/Travel:This position works standard business hours but may require long hours and some weekend work. Some out-of-state / province / country and overnight travel may be expected.

Salary Range:US: $80,000 - $145,000 / CDN: $75,000 - $100,000.

Salary ranges vary based on location, experience, and skills of qualified candidates.
