Compensation: $191,000.00 - $215,000.00
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of business litigation cases from inception through resolution. Draft and review critical legal documents including briefs, complaints, and motions. Manage all aspects of trial preparation, including developing strategies and coordinating with team members. Represent clients in court, handling all phases of litigation effectively. Engage directly with clients, providing strategic advice and maintaining communication about case developments. Play an active role in the firm's business development activities, helping to grow client relationships. Minimum Position Qualifications: JD from a top-tier law school. At least 4 years' experience in business litigation roles. Active California bar license. Demonstrable expertise in legal research and writing, able to draft complex documents with precision. Proven track record of successfully managing case work-ups and trial preparation. Strong problem-solving abilities and resilience under pressure. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in an AmLaw 200 national law firm is highly advantageous. Specialization in complex commercial/business litigation matters. A history of leading trial teams and mentoring junior associates. Demonstrated ability to innovate in legal strategy and client solutions. Active participation in legal community, publications, and speaking engagements. Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Advanced critical thinking and analytical skills. Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a team. Highly organized with an ability to manage multiple deadlines and tasks. Skilled in negotiations and client management.
