The company is a leading manufacturer in the special effects and pyrotechnics industry, servicing some of the most elite entertainment companies and venues around the world. The Business Operations Manager will manage the daily operations of their Las Vegas distribution center. This individual will have leadership responsibilities in addition to managing and implementing new processes and efficiencies specific to their warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, have a proven track record of process enhancement and bring applicable safety and regulation knowledge in the electronics and flammables space.
Business Operations Manager Responsibilities: Direct and coordinate all aspects of the facility's operations to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
Implement and optimize production processes to enhance efficiency and maximize output
Lead a diverse team of professionals, including office staff, engineers, factory workers and support staff
Develop and enforce safety protocols to guarantee a secure working environment
Manage facility resources, including inventory, equipment, and personnel, to meet production goals
Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure a seamless supply chain
Business Operations Manager Requirements: BA or higher level of education preferred
5+ years of management experience, specific to manufacturing operations
Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols related to pyrotechnic or similar industry strongly preferred
Familiarity with local, state and federal regulations governing pyrotechnics and entertainment events
Strong project management skills
