What You Will Be Doing




The lead flight and delivery operations position for the C130 program is responsible for the following:


• Flight Line team staffing, cost, schedule, and quality performance.


• Leading team using culture of accountability tools and concepts to ensure effective communication between shifts and teams.


• Implementing Aircraft Manufacturing System (AMS) and providing motivation to the Flight Line team.


• Reporting out and briefing multiple levels of leadership both within the company and for the customer.


• Exhibiting Full Spectrum Leadership behaviors and deploying Culture of Accountability onto the program.

Basic Qualifications:


• Aerospace manufacturing experience.


• Leadership experience.


• Experience working on an active Flight Line.


Desired Skills:


• 8+ years' experience on an active C130J Flight Line.


• Direct customer engagement experience.


• Leadership experience working on an active Flight Line.


• In depth knowledge of C130J systems.


• In depth knowledge of QADs, DIMs, and SFM.


• Depth of experience in manufacturing disciplines of assembly, integration, and systems checkouts.


• Lean manufacturing exposure.


• Skilled in new employee coaching and organizational team development.


• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.


• Experience leading a represented workforce.


Security Clearance Statement:This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely:Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.


Work Schedules:Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.
Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.


Schedule for this Position:4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
