Overview: The Campus Director is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and safety of church facilities. This role ensures that the physical environment supports the church's mission and activities while providing a welcoming atmosphere for congregation members and visitors.
Key Responsibilities: Facility Maintenance:Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure safety, cleanliness, and functionality.Oversee maintenance and repairs, coordinating with contractors and vendors as needed.Manage custodial services and ensure facilities are clean and well-maintained.Safety and Compliance:Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and church policies.Develop and implement safety protocols, including emergency procedures.Maintain safety equipment.Event Coordination:Assist in planning and coordinating church events, ensuring facilities are prepared and set up.Manage the scheduling of facility usage for internal and external events.Provide support during events, including setup and breakdown.Budget Management:Assist in developing and managing the facility maintenance budget.Monitor expenses and seek cost-effective solutions for repairs and upgrades.Supervise and train custodial staff and volunteers.Foster a positive working environment and encourage teamwork.Communication:Serve as the primary point of contact for facility-related inquiries.Communicate with church leadership about facility needs and improvements.Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; degree in facility management, hospitality, or a related field preferred.Proven experience in facility management, maintenance, or a similar role.Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Knowledge of building systems, safety regulations, and maintenance best practices.Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.Capability to perform manual tasks and handle maintenance tools.Why Join Us?
