Cardiothoracic Surgeons specialize in surgical procedures of the heart and chest.


Key Responsibilities Perform surgeries on the heart, lungs, and chest.
Manage post-operative care for complex cases.
Collaborate with cardiologists and other specialists.
Requirements MD or DO degree.
Completion of general surgery residency and cardiothoracic fellowship.
Board certification in cardiothoracic surgery.
Excellent technical and analytical skills.
Strong communication skills for patient care.
