Position Title: CaregiverCompensation: $17.50/ hourShift Details: 2 weekdays 2nd Shift and 2 weekdays 1st shift and 2nd Shift Every Other WeekendBenefitsCompetitive PayMedical InsurancePaid Time OffRetirement PlanLongevity Bonus (paid on hire date each year)Growth OpportunitiesResponsibilitiesAssist and monitor clients while dressing, bathing, toileting, and in all other aspects of self-care.Assist and monitor clients during meals to ensure utilization of family style dining.Assist and monitor clients in all aspects of housekeeping responsibilities (Clothing care, house cleaning, and yard care).Assist and monitor clients in preparing meals and nutritional supplements.Assist and monitor clients in the administration of prescribed medication without error.Assist and monitor clients in the implementation of prescribed diet orders and utilization of adaptive equipmentImplement and follow all established behavior programs, data collection, and established safety procedures.Assist and monitor clients in appropriate active treatment including training objective plans, recording data, and implementing service goals.Participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team and to communicate appropriate clients information as directed by supervisory staff.Transport and monitor clients on Company vehicles as directed.Assist and monitor clients during community outings.Assist and monitor clients during participation at school and day program activities.Attend staff development classes as scheduled and successfully complete test required competency testing (MANDT, CPR, First Aid, Safe Van Driving, Promotion of Consumer Well Being, Cultural Competency and Medication Administration).Complete all tasks for consumers assigned to you by the managersQualificationsMinimum of High School Diploma or GEDNC Driver's License21 years of age or olderNo experience required.Basic computer skills.Ability to work well with others, be self-motivated.Display strong oral and written communication skills.Possess problem-solving skills.Must be able to work flexible hours and be reached by phonePhysical Strength: Able to lift or move up to 40 lbs. or more.Ability to perform MANDT, CPR, and First Aid techniques.Daily contact with body fluids, cleaning agents, and general household equipment.We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
