Position Summary
This position will support the Category Manager(s) with the day-to-day activities used to drive sales and achieve department and category objectives.
This position will collaborate with internal and external associates to accomplish goals promptly.
Description of Work Review, verify and setup new vendors and new items as requested by the Category Manager in an accurate and timely fashion across multiple systems Process item maintenance, cost changes, and freight adjustments for vendors with accuracy daily Enter, track and process billing each period Communicate effectively across all departments, including Inventory Management, Center Store, Accounting, AWG Brands and warehouse teams Assist with deduction resolution as needed Interact with vendor partners to ensure accurate item maintenance Communicates and interacts with cross-functional departments at AWG Compile and run data reports as requested by the Category Manager Assist with special projects and other assigned duties Competencies Attention to Detail - Must be able to manage a significant amount of detail and accurately enter/maintain it across several systems in a timely manner.
Prioritization and Time Management - Must be able to effectively organize and prioritize daily tasks.
Partner with Category Manager to ensure priorities are correct and deadlines are met.
Problem Solving - Must be able to identify issues and work with peers and team to resolve them quickly.
