Jewish National Fund-USA seeks a Food and Beverage Manager to be responsible for overseeing all aspects of JNF House's catering commitments, including planning, organizing, and executing events.

This position will be based out of Jewish National Fund-USA's NYC office.
Responsibilities:Develop and execute a comprehensive catering strategy to drive sales growth and meet revenue targets.Plan, organize, and coordinate all aspects of catering events, including menu selection, food preparation (make food in-house vs. bringing outside catering), staffing, equipment rental, and delivery logistics.Collaborate with the management team to create appealing and innovative catering that align with customer preferences and dietary restrictions.Maintain strong relationships with existing catering clients and actively seek new business opportunities through marketing efforts, networking, and referrals.Respond to inquiries, provide quotes, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely and accurate communication with clients to meet their needs and expectations.Oversee inventory management, order supplies, and monitor food costs to maintain profitability while meeting client expectations.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food handling guidelines, allergen training and licensing requirements.Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary changes to enhance future catering services.Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to continually improve and expand catering offerings.Qualifications:Previous experience as a catering manager or in a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.Proven track record of successfully planning and executing catering events of varying sizes and complexities.Strong knowledge of food and beverage industry trends, including dietary preferences, menu planning, and presentation techniques.Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, staff, and vendors.Leadership abilities, with experience in managing and motivating a team to achieve exceptional results.Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality control, consistency, and exceeding customer expectations.Proficient in computer systems and software relevant to the catering industry, such as catering management software, Microsoft Office, and POS systems.Knowledge of health and safety regulations, food handling guidelines, and licensing requirements.Kosher food knowledge is a plus.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by catered events.Compensation:$60,000+
