Compliance with legal and regulatory standards, as well as the management of the agency's liability insurance program, are key aspects of the position.
Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a graduate degree in a relevant field, with a Certified Public Accountant designation being a plus.
A minimum of 3-5 years of senior management experience in a similar financial role, particularly within the healthcare sector, is required.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general accounting and financial reporting procedures, as well as knowledge of Medicaid and Federal reimbursements.
Experience with non-profit behavioral health and/or healthcare agencies, especially those providing services under contract with the District of Columbia, is highly valued.
Proficiency in general office and accounting software is expected, and the ability to monitor and implement changes to ensure compliance and maximize operational and financial results is essential.
