Chief Financial Officer, Full-Time

Golden West Telecommunications is the largest rural communications provider in the State of South Dakota and one of the leading communications cooperatives in the United States. With 275 employees and assets in excess of $450M, the organization is well positioned for continued financial and operational success. With a service area of more than 24,000 square miles, Golden West delivers high-speed broadband, communications services and technology solutions to a geographically diverse and expansive portion of the State. Due to an upcoming retirement, Golden West is seeking a CFO with the financial and management experiences, vision, and leadership skills to become an integral part of our leadership team. The CFO will have comprehensive financial responsibilities and will report directly to the organization's Chief Executive Officer.
Our Requirements:
An accomplished financial executive with a minimum of seven years of communications industry experience.
A demonstrated ability to successfully lead and supervise day-to-day financial functions.
A forward-thinking leader focused on developing and sustaining operational support teams that will further enhance the culture and brand that has been built at Golden West.
Knowledge and experience in the telecommunications and broadband industry.
An ability to build and sustain the financial relationships for the organization.
An individual that is experienced in taking the financial lead on new growth and M&A opportunities.
