About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to join their team. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader, responsible for providing vision and direction for the critical Human Resources function that serves a population of approximately 4,000. This role involves leading a 95-person team and overseeing various HR divisions, including talent acquisition, compensation & benefits, HR systems, employee & labor relations, HR policy & compliance, and project management. The CHRO will be a key member of the Laboratory Operations Senior Leadership team, partnering with senior leadership on people stewardship initiatives and ensuring that the HR strategic plan aligns with the company's mission, values, and business objectives.Applicants for the CHRO position should have a minimum of 15 years of progressively responsible HR experience and a bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. The role requires a proven track record in leading HR strategic planning, business process transformation, and managing a complex HR organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in a scientific or discovery research organization, be adept at managing an inter-generational workforce, and have a strong background in talent acquisition and retention strategies. Key responsibilities include fostering an inclusive culture, providing oversight for all people development processes, and ensuring compliance with HR-related laws and regulations. The CHRO will also be expected to develop and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders and play a pivotal role in the company's HR capital strategic plan.
