Job Purpose Our company is driven to help others succeed in reaching their financial goals, and we're seeking a new Chief Marketing Officer to help us in that mission. The CMO will bring a mix of marketing expertise, business acumen, and creativity to the role. We're looking for an experienced leader of creative people, someone who can inspire others while taking our creative output to a new level as we continue to grow. The ideal candidate will have a natural eye for design and be a prolific generator of dynamic ideas that connect with our audiences.



Duties and responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing philosophy, strategy, and execution plan to align with organizational goals. Lead strategic planning efforts across multiple markets, ensuring effective growth initiatives and brand consistency. Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team to communicate and refine strategies quarterly. Marketing Operations: Oversee and approve all creative initiatives, including radio, television, website, digital marketing, print, promotional materials, and on-site branding. Manage national media planning and purchasing across multiple states. Lead client acquisition and retention efforts through strategic, data-driven marketing initiatives. Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate category performance by outlet, ensuring marketing efforts meet or exceed ROI expectations. Analyze marketing reports and leverage insights to optimize media strategies and campaigns. Stay ahead of competitor trends, identifying and implementing innovative marketing opportunities. Team Leadership: Direct and manage a high-performing marketing team specializing in digital, events, creative design, and coordination. Foster a collaborative and dynamic team environment, promoting growth, accountability, and efficiency. Implement and maintain department policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with best practices and industry standards. Event and Brand Management: Maintain and enhance the Trajan Wealth and Trajan Estate brands through consistent, high-quality messaging and visuals. Oversee the organization and execution of client journey processes, including retention efforts and annual client appreciation events (e.g., golf tournaments across multiple markets). Build and maintain strong relationships with marketing vendors, optimizing partnerships for maximum ROI and branding success. Qualifications Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field. 15+ years of marketing experience, including 5+ years in an executive level position managing multi-channel campaigns with $5M+ budgets. Proven success in delivering impactful marketing messages across voice, video, visual, and digital platforms. Skills & Competencies: Results-driven with a strong track record of developing profitable B2C engagement marketing programs. Exceptional leadership, team-building, and conflict resolution skills. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities without compromising accuracy or efficiency. Strong research and analytical skills to stay ahead of marketing and industry trends. Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with Salesforce. Existing marketing connections in local markets. Benefits/ Working Conditions This position would be onsite at our corporate office in Scottsdale, AZ, relocation assistance provided on a case-by-case basis. Competitive compensation package, up to a $400K base salary depending on experience. Quarterly bonus. 401k with matching component up to 13%.
