The lease is 100% walk-away with ZERO credit check, and ZERO upfront, meaning you can return the truck at any point and get into a truck with no up front cost. However, when walking away from the truck, you also forfeit any escrow deposits. Specifically, $1,000 of the escrow is held by us, and the remaining $4,000 is held by the leasing company. You are not required to have any of this up front. Its deducted from your weekly settlements. How much are truck payments? You can use the leasing company's calculator to determine your truck payments: https://www.silverequipmentleasing.com/lease-calculator-infoPay and Compensation:What is my weekly pay?Our Lease Operators average about $250,000 to $300,000 in annual AGR Gross, which equates to approximately $5,500-$6,670 weekly AGR. You can expect to run 2,500 to 2,900 miles weekly. The average rate per mile is $2.10-$2.30. Lease Operators are paid 70% of AGR with an option to go up to 80% of the AGR.For example, if you do $5,500 in AGR for that week, you will receive $4,400 after our percentage; if you do $6,670 AGR, you will get $5,336 after our percentage. This is before fuel or tolls.Do you pay for empty and loaded miles? We pay on a percentage basis, not on miles. When am I paid?We pay out weekly. All trips delivered between Monday and Sunday get paid on Friday. Some banks hold direct deposits for an extra 1-2 business days. Most drivers see the funds in their accounts over the weekend or Monday/Tuesday.Deductions and Expenses:Who pays for tolls? The contractor pays for tolls. We provide EZPASS for tolls and Pre-Pass for scales. The tolls will be deducted from your trip if you use our EZPASS or bypass without paying for tolls at the booth. What deductions do you have other than the percentage?FuelTollsWeekly Lease PaymentMileage Fee if you are on a standard leaseSecurity Deposit/Escrow (See next question)Do you require an escrow?Yes. Our escrow is $5,000. You don't have to pay it upfront. It's paid out from your settlement"$700 the first week, then 43 weeks at $100 per week until you reach $5,000.Of this escrow, $1,000 is held by us, and the remaining $4,000 is held by the leasing company.Who pays for fuel? You do. We provide you with a fuel card. The fuel cost is deducted when the trip is paid.Do you charge trailer rental? No, we do not charge a trailer rental fee.Who pays for trailer maintenance? We do. If you damage a trailer, you will be responsible, but we cover regular wear and tear maintenance.Operational Details:How do your drivers make that much with ELD?We have a high volume of drop/hook freight that allows us to keep you rolling.Do you allow self-dispatch?No, we have dispatchers that will keep you covered. We do give access to our internal board that you can work with your dispatcher on to see if you would be a fit. What do I need to bring with me to orientation?CDL Class A of the driverMedical Card of the driverSSN card of the driverPassport or Passport Card if you plan on going to Canada (not required)LLC Documents for your company (if you do not have a company set up, you will be required to have one. Our leases are between us and your company)Do I have to unload the freight? No, we are a no-touch company. Most of our freight is drop/hook.Do you offer drop/hook?Yes, about 70% of our loads are drop/hook.Do you require night-time driving? No, but if you have hours to drive and you aren't tired or sick, then you're expected to be on time. If you are empty, then do whatever you want; you're a contractor.Where do your lanes run?60% of our lanes are in the Midwest10% in the Southeast10% in the South10% in the West (up to Colorado)10% in the NortheastWe rarely go past Denver when heading west. However, if you have a specific request to go west, your dispatcher can get you a load going there. We also have freight that goes to Canada, but you are not required to go to Canada if you choose not to. If you are interested, bring your Passport or Passport Card with you.Your ad says you go to the Northeast, where in the Northeast? We don't go to New York City or high-traffic areas. Our Northeast freight goes directly to large warehouses and industrial locations like Harrisburg, PA; Butler, PA; and Hartford, CT. We don't take freight to high-traffic areas since most drivers don't want to drive in those areas.Where will I fuel? Our network for fueling is any Loves. What ELD do you use?We use Samsara, a very easy ELD to use.Do you have cameras?Yes. All trucks have outward-facing cameras. The inside cameras are optional. If you choose to opt out of the driver-facing camera, then you will be paid 5% less of the AGR.How long is your orientation?2-3 days. We start orientation every week on Monday. Depending on the size of the class, we can get done in two days, but usually, it rolls over into the third day.How do I wash my truck/trailer?We have a Blue Beacon account. You can go to any Blue Beacon and get a truck or trailer wash.Policies and Requirements:How much experience do you require?2 years minimum, but we prefer drivers with 5+ years.Do we allow passengers?Yes. The policy is about $12 per week, and the passenger can't be a CDL holder.Do we allow pets? No. We have many customers that do not allow pets due to safety reasons.Do I have to have an X endorsement to start? No, but you are required to obtain an X endorsement within 30-45 days of leasing on. We can help you obtain it. An X endorsement is Tanker + Hazmat. We do not haul tankers, but we do haul liquid totes from time to time that exceed 1,000 gallons in capacity, which in turn forces the driver to have a Tanker endorsement. If you do not have an X endorsement, you will be paid 5% less of the AGR.Can I take my truck home?Yes. If you have a safe place to park and you get it approved with Safety, then that is fine. What is your home policy?Every 7 days out equals 1 day off is the official policy. However, most of our drivers work between 11-14 days and then take off 3-4 days. However, if you live near the locations we listed above, then you'd be by the house every couple of days.Do you offer a sign-on bonus? No. Our goal is not to get you to join based on a "sign-on bonus" trick that most companies use. We would rather offer you steady work and good pay.Insurance and Legal:Do you offer health, dental, or vision insurance? No. Health, Dental, and Vision insurance are for Company Drivers who are employees, not for Contractors such as Lease Operators. Are you W2 or 1099?Company Drivers are on W2; Contractors are on 1099. We follow the law.If you have any questions call one of our recruiters today at (314)480-5589Job Requirements:Experienced CDL A DriverX ENDORSEMENT REQUIRED or WILLING TO OBTAIN IT WITHIN 30 - 45DAYSDoesn't need to be micro managed
