Northwest Kidney Center is hiring a Clinical Information Nurse Specialist to join our Clinical Informatic team in Burien, WA. This position will be Hybrid and work 2 days onsite after the initial training period.
FSLA/Shift: Full-time, 40 hours/week, Day Shift Mon-Fri, Non-Exempt
PurposeThe Clinical Information Nurse Specialist (CINS) is responsible for the management, implementation, training, auditing, and facilitation of the clinical informatics system that supports both physician and clinical staff in their patient care functions. The CINS will work closely with the Information Technology Department to optimize the use of the system for patient care staff, physicians, and other multidisciplinary care providers by attending to the documentation, training, and data extraction needs.
Required QualificationsEquivalent of Associate or Baccalaureate degree with a Nursing majorCurrent Registered Nursing license in the state of WashingtonPrevious Clinical Information experience, with at least EMR "Super User" role experience required.5 years of clinical nursing requiredValid Washington State Driver's License, proof of insurance, and the ability to travel to all of NKC's facilitiesPreferred QualificationsBachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)Two (2) years of supervisory nursing experienceDialysis experience preferred.
