We are currently looking for a Clinical Supervisor to join their team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Clinical Supervisor reports to Clinical Director (or Chief Clinical Officer if none).
Create personalized treatment plans for early learners with measurable goals in accordance with the company Treatment Model, which includes but is not limited to the following: Create a comprehensive analysis of the clients needs based the science of Applied Behavior Analysis, medical necessity, information from parents, diagnostic or educational evaluations and reports, behavior analytic assessments, and additional information provided.
Determine treatment goals of clients current skill level, progress, and behaviors which may be a danger to the client and/or others, and/or inhibit the clients ability to learn based on comprehensive analysis.
Develop skill acquisition goals that build on a clients existing skills using evidence- based ABA techniques and strategies, applied the clients core deficits based on their DSM-V diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorders (medical necessity).
Develop a function-based Behavior Intervention Plan for the reduction of maladaptive behaviors, functional replacement behavior goals and skill acquisition targets for learning readiness skills.
Create useful, practical parent training goals which teach the core principles of ABA and the practical application of ABA strategies and techniques.
Use appropriate assessments tools (VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, PEAK, FBA, etc.)
to evaluate a clients current skill level and progress and to meet funder requirements.
Provide ongoing and responsive case management which meets the clients unique needs.
Appropriately supervise client in session with Behavior Technician (BT) to ensure client progress, continually assess effectiveness of interventions, and maintain current, viable protocols, goals, and targets for client in accordance with the BACBs supervision guidelines and ethical code and TBC Clinical Policies and Procedures.
Add, modify and update client goals, protocols and programs based on client response to interventions.
Ensure client is in the least restrictive learning environment based on their needs.
Provide timely program modifications, progress updates, and insurance authorization reports.
Provide direct ABA therapy to clients as needed.
Assist clients with physical needs and personal care including lifting (up to 50 lbs.
), positioning, feeding, toileting, and personal hygiene.
Demonstrate leadership qualities while providing effective training and learning opportunities for employees.
Provide effective training and supervision for Behavior Technicians, Behavior Analyst Interns, and other employees using behavior analytic principles, strategies, techniques.
Assess initial and ongoing competency in therapeutic skills, appropriate client engagement and session activities.
Provide supervision and appropriate learning opportunities for Behavior Analyst Interns who are in the process of acquiring BCBA certification.
Provide practical and compassionate parent education and training to assist families in supporting the clients needs.
Listen and respond to parent concerns with evidence-based information.
Provide referrals, resources, and other support when appropriate.
Communicate effectively and efficiently to support client and family's needs.
Provide regular parent training and education sessions that are useful to the parents.
Use Behavior Skills Training techniques to teach ABA strategies and techniques to help facilitate the generalization and maintenance of skills.
Demonstrate understanding of initial and ongoing authorization requirements of clients funders to obtain and maintain medically necessary ABA therapy services for the client.
Demonstrate fluency in the use of Central Reach Clinical Management Software to maintain client programs, protocols, data sheets, etc.
Model behaviors consistent with the mission and core values of the company.
Model behavior consistent with the BACB ethical code, TBC policies and procedures, privacy regulations and respect for client dignity.
Manage clinical schedule to ensure optimal clinical outcomes, including but not limited to the following: Track and evaluate usage of client billable hours to ensure maximum usage and optimal client outcomes (supervision, parent training, evaluations/assessments/authorization reports).
* Track, evaluate and maximize supervision of behavior technicians in accordance with TBC and BACB guidelines.
Track and evaluate client progress to determine and implement strategies which maximize skill acquisition, generalization and maintenance. ]
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Current BCBA certification and LBA license At least two years experience in Applied Behavior Analysis with children with autism early intervention experience strongly preferred.
Masters Degree in ABA, Special Education, or another related field Current CPR/AED and/or BLS certification To qualify, the course taken must be accredited by the American Heart Association and include an in-person skill demonstration.
Any other forms of CPR certification do not meet this requirement.
