This program immerses students into the daily operation of a contemporary media and technology company while working side-by-side with Comcasts top innovators.
The student becomes an integral part of the Comcast team working on creative, innovative, and thought-provoking projects within various business units.
Organization & Team Overview Xfinitys Growth Innovation & Experience (XGIE) organization works at the intersection of media, pricing and customer experience.
Our innovative teams are continually developing, tinkering and enhancing the customer experience.
Our Competitive Intelligence team is centrally positioned to support the organization with competitive insights, vendor management and competitive dataset ownership.
We are made up of a team of 4 members and own all broadband/mobile competitive insights.
Role Description Are you passionate about the evolving competitive broadband market, innovative products and services?
Do you like answering complicated questions and creating actionable insights?
As a Competitive Intelligence Intern on the Competitive Intelligence team, you will leverage your business knowledge, critical thinking and investigative skills to create enhanced reporting around competitive landscape, go to market strategies and Fiber tracking.
What are some interesting problems the student will work on?
In your role, you will support the competitive team with advanced reporting and lean into vendor project management.
Develop in-depth competitive profiles and informative metrics around performance.
Investigate new market entrants and evolving competitive offers to understand risk or opportunity.

Youll be working with the best and brightest competitive minds in Comcast while we aim to inform the company on competitive risks, opportunities and shortfalls.
Success in this role is characterized by accurate insights, innovative reporting and supporting teammates with the creation of new competitive profiles.
Job Responsibilities Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Analyze multiple datasets to uncover compelling insights and craft narratives that effectively highlight significant findings Prepare regular competitive reports, including performance and variance analyses to senior management Support a special project with an external vendor Update teammates on market announcements and significant offer changes Assist to team members in the development and design of competitivemetrics and profiles for emerging competitors Supports business unit management and other departments with competitive requests and special projects Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Preferred S kills Proficient in SQL, Tableau/Data Visualization, Excel and Data Engineering Preferred Majors: Business Majors Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements Currently pursuing a bachelors degree from a United States-based college or university Rising Junior or Rising Senior only (must have a graduation date between Winter 2025- Spring 2027) Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship (meaning, student must be returning to school for Fall 2025 semester before graduating) Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program- June 2 through August 15, 2025 Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering) Comcast is an Affirmative Action/EEO employer M/F/D/V Comcast is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.

Salary: Base Pay: $23.00 The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.
Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
