Job Description: At HPC, MCS and Hewlett Packard Labs, we focus on cutting edge, high-performance, high-scale customer solutions serving a wide range of industries and end-users.
Our organization includes High-Performance Computing (HPC), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Mission Critical Solutions (MCS), Edgeline, Moonshot and Hewlett Packard Labs. In a typical day as a Presales Consultant -Technical Architect, you would:
Configure hardware clusters for HPC & AI workloads using your knowledge of Infiniband and Ethernet networking.Apply advanced knowledge of company hardware products and infrastructure solutions as well as customers' business and technical environment to translate the functional view into a technical view and architect complex solutions that can be scaled to accommodate growth.Participate in deep-dive discussions and articulate the value proposition, define key differentiators, and draft high level solution designs by mapping HPE technologies to customers' technical and business challenges.Demonstrate this knowledge by effectively countering competitive point-product claims with the benefits of HPE's broad suite of total solutions, open platform approach, and technical innovations.Monitor the account pipeline and nurture active deals from opportunity to close.
In addition, build the pipeline by identifying missed or new opportunities within the account.Build on existing customer relationships by designing end-to-end architecture for solutions aligned to the customer's business needs, within the specified scope and budget.Mentor presales peers, account managers, and other partners on account, solution, and technological knowledge through best practice sharing.Track industry developments for specific domains by attending conferences and industry events, and monitoring social media.
Additionally, contribute to industry developments utilizing those same methods.If you are... Holding a Bachelor's degree in engineering or from a technical university.Having 5+ years of experience in High-Performance computing (HPC) / AI with a focus on technical consulting and infrastructure/hardware solution selling.Demonstrating deep technical understanding of infrastructure and networking solutions set and knowledge of leading edge and emerging technologies.Having prior experience working with service providers, with exposure to large telco suppliers.Having good knowledge of the HPE hardware product portfolio, strategic initiatives, current trends, partner and competitor products and strategies within the assigned solution set.Having solid network configuration skills, project management skills, or experience with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including appropriate due diligence.Demonstrating excellent consultative selling techniques, including active listening, framing, white boarding, storytelling, etc.Having experience participating in solution configurations/ overall architecture design and the creation of PoCs to meet customer requirements.Join us and make your mark!
