Commercial Sales Manager (8277)

Who They Are Our client is the largest pipes, valves, and fittings manufacturer in the U.S. They are looking for someone to take over the mechanical contractor and engineering relationships in the Eastern region. This role will have dotted line responsibility to all the area sales managers and rep agencies in those regions so they can be the boots on the ground to assist.

What You'll Do Development and execution of short and long range strategic plans, working with the Director of Commercial Sales, and Regional & Area Sales Managers in the Northeast Region.Assist the Area Sales Managers with the execution of a project tracking tool from beginning stages through award of project.Work in a "matrix" role with regional sales associates within the assigned territory.Provide comprehensive product training to sales associates & to all external customers.Attend industry events.Conduct multiple Lunch and Learns each month for Engineering and Contractor Firms.Play an integral role with significant projects each quarter.Write company name and figure numbers into plumbing, mechanical, and fire protection specifications with all major engineering firms, mechanical contracting companies, and end users.What You'll Need Bachelor's degree.Minimum 5 years of sales experience.Technical product knowledge.Proficiency in all Microsoft software.
