Are you a detail-oriented and experienced accountant looking to join a dynamic construction team? We are seeking a skilled Construction Accountant to play a vital role in our financial operations. Key Responsibilities:
* Financial Management:
* Manage all aspects of construction project accounting, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
* Monitor project costs, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
* Project Cost Tracking:
* Work closely with project managers to track and analyze project costs, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
* Maintain cost control procedures to maximize profitability.
* Billing and Invoicing:
* Generate and review invoices for accuracy and compliance with contract terms.
* Collaborate with project teams to address any billing discrepancies.
* General Ledger Maintenance:
* Reconcile general ledger accounts related to construction projects.
* Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
* Compliance:
* Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance standards.
* Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for external audits.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
* 3+ years of experience in construction accounting.
* Strong knowledge of construction industry financial principles.
* Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
