Century Schools is seeking to hire an Field Superintendent
Project Site: Frederick Douglass Senior High School Renovation
Baltimore City Resident gets priority hiring for this position.
Experience:
Minimum of 10 years as a foreman or superintendent.Alternative Qualification:An AS or BS degree in Construction Management or Engineering with at least 5 years of progressive responsibility supervising flooring installation projects.Or, at least 10 years of experience in the construction industry, specifically with commercial and/or institutional general contractors involved in flooring installation.Demonstrated understanding of flooring installation techniques and associated site work methods. Qualifications:
Technical Skills:Ability to measure and read plans.Familiarity with flooring installation means and methods. Licenses/Certifications:
Valid Driver's License.OSHA 30 certification.First Aid and CPR certification. Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day field activities to ensure project milestones and overall schedules are met.Manage and supply installers with materials needed for daily projects.Monitor workmanship of installers and maintain positive relationships with them.Create short-interval look-ahead project schedules for tracking and proactive management. Salary Range: 45k – 70K
