Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager/Estimator to join our team.
This individual will oversee the planning, coordination, and financial management of various construction projects from initial estimation to completion.
The role requires a strong understanding of heavy civil construction, a commitment to maintaining timelines, and managing resources efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management
* Lead all phases of construction projects, including pre-construction planning, scheduling, and execution.
* Develop and maintain project budgets, timelines, and resource plans.
* Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure projects meet specifications and deadlines.
* Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
* Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety.
* Manage change orders, project documentation, and reporting.

Estimating
* Prepare accurate cost estimates for heavy civil construction projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.
* Analyze project plans, specifications, and related documents to determine project scope and requirements.
* Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to ensure estimates align with project goals.
* Review historical data, productivity analysis, and market trends to improve the accuracy of cost predictions.
* Participate in bid preparation, proposal writing, and contract negotiations.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
* Bachelor"s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
* 10+ years of experience in project management and estimating, preferably in heavy civil construction.
* In-depth knowledge of construction processes, industry standards, and regulations.
* Proficiency in project management and estimating software (e.g., AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project).
* Strong financial acumen and ability to develop accurate project budgets.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure.
* Valid driver"s license and ability to travel to job sites as required.

Preferred Qualifications:
* PMP certification or similar project management certification.
* Experience with site development, utility work, or infrastructure construction.
