Construction Project Manager 4 Location Salt Lake City, UT (Capitol Hill area) : The Construction Project Manager 4 is a seasoned professional with extensive expertise in managing high-profile and complex construction projects. Reporting to a Manager, Sr. Manager, or Division Director, the PM 4 oversees the planning, management, and execution of critical projects, often simultaneously managing at least four complex projects. These projects typically involve high-end commercial construction, including unique or large temple construction, high-rise office buildings and condominiums, or other similar high-profile projects. The PM 4 is adept at working with multiple large contractors, managing substantial budgets, and navigating dynamic external political factors inherent in such projects. Regular interaction with senior management and coordination of design and planning teams are essential aspects of this role. Additionally, the PM 4 may be called upon to manage international projects, further adding to the complexity of their responsibilities. This person would be considered an expert in the field of construction project management. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 10 years professional experience in the construction, building engineering or design industry. Minimum of 6 years professional project management experience with a successful track record for managing multiple projects concurrently from conceptual planning to completion, including high-profile and complex projects. Demonstrates ability to effectively as a team leader with minimal oversight from a manager or coach, to achieve organizational and customer goals. Ability to manage and supervise others. Proficient skills in scheduling and project planning. Ability to manage projects remotely, visiting construction sites a maximum of once every 2 months. Successful experience managing multiple vendor relationships concurrently. In-depth knowledge of commercial construction processes, construction laws, and practices, including understanding building codes, design plans, construction drawings, and specifications. Understanding of project estimating concepts to track budgets, verify bids, understand market rates, and process change orders. Proficient in contractual language and concepts, with negotiation skills to protect the Church's interests while providing quality service. Advanced written and verbal skills in English. Proficiency in software programs like Bluebeam, Revit, AutoCAD etc., is preferred. Possession of a valid driver's license and a good driving record, with the ability to obtain a passport if necessary. Requirements:
