Your Day-to-Day Activities: Lead & Execute · Facilitate Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetings to review project progress and foster collaboration.
· Take the lead in project scoping, design review, constructability review, competitive bid, construction inspection, commissioning, and as-built incorporation.
· Promote consensus-building, effective communication, and individual accountability among team members.
· Skillfully mediate and resolve conflicts that may arise within the project.
· Provide valuable recommendations on project management tools, processes, procedures, and best practices to enhance the clients' internal Project Management Office (PMO).
· Responsively address RFI's, execute contracts, and efficiently process change orders.
· Thoroughly review and approve pay applications from contractors and vendors.
Plan and Organize · Establish and manage project schedules, including defining activities, work breakdown structures, predecessors, successors, resources, and baselines.
· Develop, monitor, and update cash flow projections to ensure effective financial management.
· Collaborate with the master scheduler to establish and enforce scheduling specifications for contractors.
· Maintain strict control over project scope and implement robust document control processes.
· Foster an inclusive and collaborative environment, ensuring the successful execution of projects while prioritizing teamwork and communication.
Analyze · Conduct comprehensive analysis and report on variances related to project cost and schedule.
· Utilize spreadsheet tools for creating and managing reports, ensuring accurate data analysis.
· Track and evaluate the progress of activities and milestones within project schedules.
· Provide support in performing ad hoc analysis and generating insightful reports.
· Collaborate in estimating project costs and assisting in the monthly accrual process.
· Communicate
· Coordinate productive and collaborative meetings or calls involving diverse team members.
· Ensure effective communication with stakeholders by providing timely updates through meeting minutes, risk registers, decision logs, and status reports.
· Act as a representative for the client when engaging with government agencies and deliver compelling presentations to senior management and stakeholders.
Manage Risk · Take charge of leading the project team in identifying, tracking, and addressing risks, issues, and opportunities.
· Proactively escalate risks and issues to ensure timely resolutions and maintain project schedules and budgets.
· Recognize and share valuable lessons learned, integrating past experiences into ongoing projects to drive continuous improvement.
