Requirements:Knowledge of OSHA 1926 and 1910 (all sub parts) required.Ideal candidate should hold certificates and be able to conduct forklift safety training, aerial lift, and boom safety training.OSHA certified trainer and possessing a NYS CR-59 certification is a plus, however, may achieve certification during employment. Self-motivated and proactive in identifying problems and developing recommended solutionsHigh degree of business acumen and ability to clearly communicate with all levels of management in a dynamic work environmentAbility to work independently as well as ability to work collaboratively in a team settingAbility to travel 50-75% within New York State Job Description:Position requires traveling to clients and conducting safety inspections of worksites and facilities.Candidate should be able to identify workplace hazards and submit recommendations for compliance.Candidate is also expected to write safety programs and assist in implementationHold safety classes with client employees when indicatedCreate safety manuals.
