Role Description:As a Content Writer, you'll be a part of a dynamic, motivated team that strives to produce the best content in our industry. Through expert research, reporting and interviewing you'll write about cities, neighborhoods, schools and parks across the country to best inform consumers who are shopping for a home. This content will help buyers discover communities and be better informed on what is often the biggest financial decision of their lives.

Responsibilities:
Research and write detailed content with in-depth local insights on cities, neighborhoods, schools and parks.
Conduct interviews, on the phone and in-person, with real estate agents and others to capture an insider's view of neighborhoods and cities across the country.
Travel for on-site visits to meet with member agents and neighborhood residents to gather first-hand research.
Work with editors to ensure that a consistent brand voice is delivered across all content.
Create written descriptions and short-form scripts for each entity
Collaborate across a variety of teams including video production, photo, and voiceover departments to produce cohesive content and ensure narratives and video scripts sync with the project's directives.
Handle concurrent projects at a range of stages, from concept through production.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in journalism, creative writing, English, marketing or communications from an accredited, not-for-profit university or college.
A track record of commitment to prior employers.
3-5 years of writing/editing experience, with a portfolio of relevant work.
Experience following AP Stylebook guidelines.
Proven track record of delivering high-quality content and adhering to deadlines.
Strong research skills, including telephone and in-person interviews, to develop content.
