JOB TITLE: Contract Manufacturing Coordinator
REPORTS TO: Formulation/Consignment Manager COMPANY OVERVIEW : D&D Ingredients LLC is a leading contract manufacturer for the animal feed industry specializing in premix and tolling services. We are committed to delivering high-quality products and services to our customers. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Contract Manufacturing Coordinator to join our dynamic team. PURPOSE & SCOPE : The Contract Manufacturing Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and managing the production process with our clients. This role involves coordinating with various departments, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and maintaining efficient production timelines. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and attention to detail. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordination and Planning: Act as the liaison between the company and clients for production & quality requirements. Coordinate with production scheduler to ensure timely production of client products. Coordinate with internal departments (e.g. procurement, quality assurance, logistics) to ensure smooth workflow and communication. Quality Assurance: Monitor compliance of company and client standards and expectations. Conduct regular quality checks on documents and in the production site. Address and resolve any quality issues in a timely manner. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including work orders, production orders, delivery schedules, and quality reports. Prepare and present regular reports on production status, performance metrics, and any issues encountered. Ensure all documentation complies with company and client requirements. Supply Chain Management: Track inventory levels of raw materials and components to ensure adequate supply to meet production demands. Collaborate with the client to optimize logistics and reduce costs. Problem-Solving and Improvement: Identify potential production bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve efficiency. Work with clients to develop and implement process improvements. Perform other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of Associate degree in business administration, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Ag Business, Animal Science or equivalent years of experience. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality standards. Excellent organizational and project management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP systems. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Meticulous attention to detail: Demonstrated ability to identify even the smallest discrepancies or errors. Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
