Rainmakers Strategic Solutions, LLC, a certified SBA 8(a) and Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB), is looking to expand capabilities in the government healthcare space to support an expanding portfolio of federal healthcare clients. We are looking for a Controller to overs the company's financial planning and budgeting processes, ensuring they align with our strategic objectives. This role will involve establishing and maintaining a robust system of accounting policies and procedures, as well as implementing effective controls over financial transactions to minimize risk. The Controller will also perform detailed financial analysis, concentrating on capital investments, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations to support informed decision-making Job Duties:Coordinate and oversee financial planning and budgeting activities to align with strategic objectives, specifically in the context of federal healthcare contracts. Establish and maintain comprehensive accounting policies and procedures; implement effective controls over financial transactions to minimize risk and ensure compliance with federal regulations.Conduct in-depth financial analysis focused on capital investments, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations for various contract types, including cost-plus, time-and-materials, and incentive-based contracts.Oversee the preparation of periodic financial statements, activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets, ensuring accuracy and transparency in financial reporting.Ensure compliance with GAAP and federal regulations, including a thorough understanding of FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and specific healthcare regulations applicable to federal contracts.Review financial data from historical, current, and projected operations; identify opportunities for development, cost savings, and process improvements.Provide management with clear short and long-term financial objectives and policies that support strategic growth within the federal healthcare sector.Manage general ledger maintenance and ensure the accuracy of all financial reporting, facilitating regular internal audits.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements; maintain up-to-date knowledge of organizational procedures and relevant regulations in the government contracting landscape.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project management efforts and drive financial efficiency across the organization.Perform other related duties as assigned.Education:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Finance is a plus.CPA (Certified Public Accountant) preferred, but not required.Other relevant certifications (CMA, CFA) are a plus.
