Our Site based in Garland (Texas), is currently looking forControls Engineer Technician: (Day Shift) As Controls Technician you will focus on maintaining the reliability of the making and packing lines above specified targets.
To achieve this, the Controls Technician will focus on technical troubleshooting and implementation of improvements on the several automated systems onsite.Responsibilities:Troubleshoot current process PLC program and HMI 6 existing lines.Work with other controls engineers and process engineers to accomplish improvements to the existing lines.Completes tasks on schedule.Demonstrate strong communication with colleagues, management, and customers.Requires only periodic direction from the Project/ Engineering Manager Complies with the rules, procedures and policies as delivered by the organization.Guide less experienced employees technicallyProject Related Activities:Manage and develop project deliverables independently or within a team.Assist in the design of control systems (I/O and Motor lists, P&IDs, etc.
