Sony Music Entertainment is seeking a highly organized and proactive Coordinator to support the Business & Legal Affairs department.
This role involves assisting two senior leaders and ensuring the department's daily operations run smoothly.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated, detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills.
What you'll do:

Provide administrative support to senior leaders and the BLA team
Schedule meetings, secure conference rooms, and ensure technology functions properly
Draft correspondence, prepare reports, and conduct contract research
Create PowerPoint presentations and assist with annual budget preparations
Coordinate travel arrangements and process expense reports.
Organize department meetings and industry events
Liaise with internal departments, including Facilities and Purchasing
Assist with onboarding new employees and handling HR-related tasks
Conduct basic online research and maintain electronic and physical filing systems
Manage outgoing mail (certified, FedEx)
Handle ad-hoc projects and provide general departmental support as needed

Who you are:

Minimum 2 years of administrative experience or recent college graduate with strong academic performance or demonstrated interest in the industry
Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, TEAMS, with the ability to learn Sony systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; detail-oriented, organized, and timely
Ability to multitask and adapt to shifting priorities
Self-starter with a positive attitude and strong team mentality

The anticipated annual base salary does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for.
The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
New York Pay Range
$50,000 — $55,000 USD

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.
Minimum Salary: 50000.00 Maximum Salary: 55000.00 Salary Unit: Yearly
